Yves Saint Laurent has been one of the most influential designers to me and my design practice. His ability to shift his design style fluidly through classicism and provocation, whether it be through provocative see-through fabrics or playing with androgynous styles in his collections, Yves Saint Laurent’s designs emulate an aesthetic that I strive for. He found inspiration in nature, as well as modern, contemporary art. I chose to illustrate three of Yves Saint Laurent’s most iconic looks.
